Chelsea vs Wolves – Wolves double chance

Chelsea welcome Wolves to Stamford Bridge in the first game on Sunday.

The Blues were battered by Carabao Cup final opponents Liverpool 4-1 in midweek and that will take some time to heal and go again. They have been solid at home, winning their last four home Premier League games, after just one win in their first seven league games this season.

As for Wolves, they’ll be disappointed with their last gasp goal conceded against Manchester United and will want to prove a point at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have won just one of the last six meetings between these two, in October 2022, and Wolves are becoming a bogey team for the hosts. With that in mind, they could drop another surprise at Stamford Bridge by taking a point from their mid-table rivals.

Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest – Bournemouth win

Forest are the next opponents to the Vitality Stadium to play Bournemouth.

Bournemouth bounced back from a defeat to Liverpool by thumping Swansea in the FA Cup. Their draw away at West Ham ended their losing run, and they’ll hope to get back to winning ways against Forest.

On the other hand, Forest have lost their last two and face an FA Cup replay just like the previous round. The games are coming thick and fast and they’ll want to bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal. The return of Awoniyi will be a big boost, but it will take more than that to get the three points from the South Coast.

Bournemouth are the favourites to win and will be with a red hot Dominic Solanke in their team. We think they’ll win, and we might see a Solanke goal as part of that.

Arsenal vs Liverpool – Both Teams to Score + Over 2.5 Goals

The big game from Sunday sees league leaders Liverpool play title hopefuls Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s side bounced back from a poor run to win their last two with a big win over Palace and a win away at Nottingham Forest. They got a point on their trip to Anfield this season and they will be hungry for revenge after their FA Cup exit earlier of the season.

As for the Reds, their big win over Chelsea following Klopp’s decision to leave at the end of the season will have them full of confidence. They tend to be successful at the Emirates, winning four of their last five visits in all competitions.

Just like the game at the Emirates last season, we think both teams will get on the scoresheet, with over 2.5 goals in the game a likelihood.
