Victor Lindelof To Commit 1 Or More Fouls

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 1/1 Betfair

Luke Shaw was the latest Manchester United defender to be ruled out of action, joining Lisandro Martínez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia on the sidelines. With Diogo Dalot on the right-hand side of the rearguard, Erik ten Hag is again expected to field centre-back by-trade Victor Lindelof as a make shift left-back for Saturday’s showdown with Fulham.

Lindelof has started three matches at left-back for Man Utd this season in the Premier League, returning 0-2-1 fouls across those three fixtures. Last weekend the Swedish international played 45 minutes in that position off the bench and collected a booking for a poor attempt at a tackle and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him exposed again here.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Harry Wilson are Lindelof’s most likely opponents at Old Trafford and the pair are amongst Fulham’s most fouled players, drawing 0.8 fouls and 1.3 fouls per-game in 2023/24.

With Andreas Pereira also operating in the right-hand space from time-to-time, backing Victor Lindelof to commit at least one foul on Betfair appeals at 1/1 (2.00).

Tyrick Mitchell 1+ Shots

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 6/4 BetVictor

Oliver Glasner takes charge of his first game as Crystal Palace boss at Selhurst Park on Saturday with the Eagles well-fancied to overcome lowly Burnley. Palace drew plenty of plaudits for their performance in Monday night’s stalemate at Everton with the South London side overhauling their approach to feature wing-backs in a 3-4-2-1 system.

One of the beneficiaries of the formation switch could be Tyrick Mitchell. The England international was pushed further forward at Goodison Park, operating more as a left winger than left-back, giving him a great opportunity to get into shooting positions. The 24-year-old managed one shot at Everton and looks undervalued to repeat the feat this weekend.

We can back Mitchell to take at least one attempt at goal at an attractive 6/4 (2.50) on BetVictor, a price that stands-out considering Burnley are giving up an average of 18 shots per-game when playing away. The Clarets are unlikely to sit back considering their plight and so an open and entertaining encounter could be in the offing at Selhurst Park.

Conor Bradley Over 0.5 Assists

Advised Bet: 1pt @ 5/1 bet365

When Liverpool lost the creative influence of Trent Alexander-Arnold to injury in January, few expected his 20-year-old deputy Conor Bradley to seamlessly take over the right-back position, making himself almost undroppable in the process. In seven starts since mid-January, the academy graduate has racked up a goal and five assists.

That sample includes a Man of the Match effort against Chelsea in Liverpool’s 4-1 destruction of the Blues at Anfield last month. Jurgen Klopp’s side are unlikely to repeat that steamroller display in Sunday’s EFL Cup final at Wembley against the same opponents, though the Reds remain firm and fair favourites to clinch top honours.

If Liverpool are to succeed, Bradley is bound to have influenced the occasion and the 5/1 (6.00) available on bet365 for the Reds right-back to assist a goal is simply too big to dismiss. A profitable play in three of his past six outings across all competitions, he’s bound to have opportunities against a Chelsea side that’s struggled for shutouts on their travels this term.
