Bayer Leverkusen vs Roma - Bayer Leverkusen to Win

Bayer Leverkusen maintained their remarkable unbeaten season with a 5-1 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

The Bundesliga champions should be comfortable here, they have a two-goal advantage from the first leg and will want to continue their unbeaten run as they look to advance to the Europa League Final.

Leverkusen won't take their foot off the gas in this game despite the two goal lead as they continue to persue a perfect unbeaten, treble winning season.

I think the home game was Roma's only chance of stopping this Leverkusen side who have only failed to win three times at home all season in all competitions and conceded just 10 goals in the league at home.

Roma have been very good under De Rossi, only losing four times but I don't think they have the attacking firepower to cause one the world's best defences this season too many problems at their home ground.

Giallorossi have scored just five goals in their last five away games and failed to score in two in those.

Leverkusen have 17 goals in their last six home games and having scored two in the away leg of this tie you can expect them to cause even more worries for Roma's defence at home.

You could speak about Leverkusen's incredible stats all day, but I think they are simply the better side, more motivated and with the added home advantage they should win this.

Olympiacos vs Aston Villa - Aston Villa to Win

Fresh from their 4-2 win at Villa Park last week, Olympiacos are bidding to become just the second Greek team after Panathinaikos in 1970/71 to reach a major UEFA competition final. The hosts had the weekend off in the Greek Super League, and should be raring to go at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, succumbed to a second defeat in a row when they were narrowly beaten by Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

Villa underestimated their rivals in the reverse fixture and paid the price, but they won't make the same mistake here.

I expect olympiacos to take a more defensive approach than the first leg as they take a two goal lead into this game while Villa will no doubt go after a result.

This dynamic will set Villa up to at least win on the day as the Greek side can afford to lose by one goal.

Villa have been one of the best attacking sides in Europe this season and are the fifth top scorers in the Premier League this season with 73 goals. 

Olympiacos no doubt overperformed last game and will certainly not put anywhere near as many goals past Villa again this time round.

I think Villa will outscore their opponents and win this game.
