Spain have only failed to score in one of their last 10 games and Croatia have scored in seven straight away games.

Both teams last three games have comfortably ended in over 2.5 goals so there should be goals involved in this fixture.

Spain are the favourites in this fixture and with a wealth of talent and their current form I would be surprised not to see them net.

Croatia are also prolific in front of the goal and should not be underestimated in this tournament.

They were beaten just once in the last major tournament, the 2022 World Cup and recently took Spain to extra time and penalties in the Nations League final.

Croatia are also off the back of putting two past one of the tournament favourites, Portugal, in a friendly and are unbeaten in six.

I think this will be a close game that sees both of these sides score.

I expect this to be a cagey affair as every point will count in Group B which features Spain, Croatia, Italy and Albania.

Neither side will want to drop points knowing the high level of opposition they face next.
