Below you can find Grant's reasoning behind each part of the bet.

Switzerland Win

Switzerland saw off Hungary with a polished performance on Saturday and they will surely smell blood when they come up against Scotland in Cologne.

Steve Clarke’s side looked bereft of confidence against Germany and they now face a tall order if they are to take top honours against Switzerland on Wednesday night.

Scotland have only managed to beat Gibraltar across their last 10 outings in all competitions, losing six times and conceding multiple goals in eight of those matches.

With that in mind, back the streetwise Swiss to engineer another victory and pile more misery on the Tartan Army.

Granit Xhaka 1+ Shot on Target

Granit Xhaka really impressed for Switzerland against Hungary last time out, leading his country to a vital 3-1 victory.

The Swiss skipper completed 79 passes and was responsible for one of the seven shots that Switzerland registered on target.

Xhaka was also instrumental in Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten season in the Bundesliga, where he would often be given licence to roam into the final-third.

Under Switzerland boss Murat Yakin, Xhaka is granted the same freedom to get forward, making him an eye-catching selection to get another effort on target against confidence-stricken Scotland.

Callum McGregor to Commit 2+ Fouls

As was the case for the majority of Scotland’s players on Friday night, Callum McGregor had a pretty torrid time of it.

That 5-1 humbling alone should give Scotland all the motivation they need to make amends against Switzerland on Wednesday, with the aforementioned McGregor a prime candidate in the fouls markets.

The Celtic captain committed two fouls against Germany on Friday night and he won’t shy away from putting his foot in against the Swiss.
