Dean Woodward is backing two yellow cards for his Denmark vs England bet builder.
Below you can find Dean's reasoning for the two card bets.
Norgaard to be Carded
The Brentford midfielder was a bit of a menace last season and looks set to start in central midfield alongside Tottenham midfielder Hojbjerg.
Last season in the Premier League, Norgaard made 1.3 fouls per game and was booked eight times in 30 appearances for the Bees.
On Thursday evening he will be in a midfield facing off against none other than Jude Bellingham who was the second most fouled player in la Liga with an average of 2.6 per game.
The opening game for England saw central midfielders Lukic and Gudelj both make two fouls each, with advantage played on multiple occasions, meaning their foul count could have quite easily been higher.
Gudelj did go into the book, meaning a central midfielder has been booked against England in six of their last nine matches.
Hojbjerg to be Carded
The Spurs midfielder lacked game time last season, in and out of the team covering for injuries to team mates Bissouma and Sarr in those central areas. However, just eight starts and sub appearances did see him still booked four times.
Similarly to above, partnered with Norgaard in those central areas, he will be extremely busy containing Jude Bellingham and the movements of Kane dropping deeper to help out.
Against Serbia, Kane dropped into midfield on rare occasions, winning fouls to take the pressure off the England back line and get them up the pitch.
Across the 90 minutes he managed to draw a whopping five fouls with Bellingham drawing four too. It’s hard to not see both of these central midfielders making several fouls.
Both are around even money to pick up two fouls, with a 2+ foul double paying around 4/1, but the card double is worth getting onside at 5x the price.
