Switzerland vs Germany

Switzerland will be happy with the four points they have taken from their opening two matches. There is an opportunity for them to snatch the top spot in the group with a victory here but they will have to improve.

Germany have looked the most polished side in the tournament so far. Julian Nagelsmann has transformed them in a short space of time and they look capable of going all the way. Toni Kroos has dictated the pace of their two matches so far. Players such as Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala have also proved impossible to pin down in the forward areas. The Germans ae unbeaten in their six matches this calendar year.

Scotland vs Hungary

The stakes are high here as Scotland attempt to make it to the knockout stages of a major tournament for the very first time. There were five cards in their last game against Switzerland. There were four as they lost 5-1 to Germany but red cards count as two under Bet365’s rules so this bet won. The Scots’ qualifying matches saw an average of five cards per game so over 4.5 looks a good bet.

Hungary’s qualities saw an average of 5.38 cards. These teams last squared off in a friendly back in 2018. Both teams picked up three yellow cards on that occasion.
