Macca gives more detail on each of the single legs in his bet builder below.

France to Win

Didier Deschamps' men may have appeared flat at times, but their defensive record has been exceptional, with two clean sheets and one of the lowest expected goals against (xGA) figures in the group stages so far (0.61 xGA per game), 53% below average.

France's solid defence hasn't conceded in 367 minutes. While Les Bleus have struggled in attack, this should change with Mbappe rejoining the starting XI. Mbappe, a player who needs no introduction, should make a significant impact.

France are unbeaten in their last eight meetings against Poland, with a 3-1 win in their most recent encounter during the round of 16 in the 2022 World Cup. Poland have not won against France since 1982.

Ousmane Dembele Over 0.5 Fouls

In his last 13 starts for France, Dembele has committed a foul in nine of those games, usually while attempting to regain possession or making a typical forward's tackle after losing the ball during a dribble.

Although dominating possession typically doesn't favour foul bets, in this case it should lead to Dembele having more of the ball, increasing his likelihood of taking players on.

Over the past year, his data ranks him in the 95th percentile for attempted dribbles, with a staggering average of 7.11 per game.

His relentless attacking intent is further evidenced by his total carrying distance in Europe’s big five leagues – topping the charts with the most of any other player. The 10/11 odds stand out.

Adrien Rabiot Over 1.5 Tackles

Adrien Rabiot is actively involved in his defensive duties and consistently posts good numbers in fouls, cards, and tackles.

Among these, the tackles market offers the best value. Rabiot has made over 1.5 tackles in 13 of his last 20 starts for the French national side, averaging 2.21 per 90 minutes.

He managed three tackles against the Netherlands despite France maintaining 63% possession in that game and recently recorded three against Greece, where France dominated with 66% possession.

At nearly 2/1 odds, this looks like a fantastic bet, especially since it's priced much lower elsewhere.
