Giorgi Kochorashvili Over 1.5 Fouls

Girogi Kochorashvili averages 2.2 fouls per 90 minutes and hit three against the Czechs and two against Turkey. He’ll be up against it in the Georgian midfield. Portugal drew 16 fouls in the Turkey match and average 11 fouls drawn per game. 

When looking at where those fouls are coming from, opposition midfielders are making up a large portion of the numbers with six of those coming from the Turkish midfield and four from the Czechs in the last two group games. 

Portugal may well play a rotated team and as such, could be more disjointed than usual, leading to a few situations where there is more dawdling on the ball. With Georgia having to go for the win, this has a good chance of landing. 

Goncalo Ramos Over 1.5 Shots on Target

This play is a calculated gamble that I have hopes of him starting this game and Martinez giving Ronaldo a rest. Ramos averages 1.64 shots on target for Portugal per 90 minutes and with a decent run out in this game, has a good chance of landing this. 

In the last six games where he played more than 60 minutes, he landed a shot on target in four of them, including two against Slovakia and Luxembourg and five against Switzerland in the World Cup. 

When the Portuguese come up against a defence that struggles to handle them, Ramos is there to exploit it as a flat track bully, and with what I’ve seen from Georgia, their defensive naivety could get them into a lot of trouble on the night. 

Over 1.5 Goals

Just taking Georgia’s xGA figures, they leaked an xGA of 3.09 to the Czechs, which was the highest xG figure of any side in the Euros so far. Against Turkey, they conceded three goals with an xGA of 2.48. 

No matter what side Portugal put out, I’m not sure Georgia are capable or willing to play in a low block defensive formation and will leave huge gaps for the Portuguese to exploit. On the flipside, the Georgians willingness to attack has produced goals for them in both games so far. 

Portugal are a sterner test, but given they are already qualified and subconsciously some of the Portuguese defenders may switch off slightly, it would be very surprising if this game ended 0-0 or 1-0 to either side. 

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Over 1.5 Shots

Kvaradona, as he’s affectionately known for club side Napoli, is far and away their star player. Although he hasn’t quite had the impact he would have liked so far, he will know he has a great chance to make history for the national side and may take matters into his own hands. 

In the first two games he was very much more of a creator and landed just one shot a piece in both the group games. However, in qualifiers he hit four and two shots respectively in games against Spain, with four and five in home and away games against Norway. 

With the likes of Georges Mikautadze driving forward and picking up free kicks, he has a great chance from set pieces and open play of testing the Portuguese goal and is my final pick for this builder.
