Portugal vs France – Kylian Mbappe

He’s one of the best players in world football right now. The 25-year-old star has played In 82 games for France, he's scored 49 goals, including nine in the qualifiers, recording 1.12 goals per 90 minutes.

The last time I tipped him to score was against Poland and he managed to net in the 56th minute with a penalty to please oddschecker readers.

The new Real Madrid talisman is France’s highest for shots, recording 4.88 per 90 minutes. He had five against Belgium but was unable to find the back of the net.

Mbappe is priced up at very similar odds to Cristiano Ronaldo and given the stark difference between the two players at their current levels, it’s a bet I’m eager to take on, especially considering Mbappe will once again be on penalty duty should France require it.

In his last four seasons at PSG, he's scored 111 goals. I’ll happily take on this bet at odds of 2/1 for another here.

Spain vs Germany - Jamal Musiala

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder from Bayern Munich is the forefront of every conversation following a Germany game. The host nation have loved seeing him tear up teams with his superb dribbling skills. Along the way, he’s scored in three out of four of his games during Euro 2024, meaning he’s joint top goalscorer.

Musiala has had a shot in target in eight of his last 10 starts, he’s confident and will want to get on the scoresheet again with the Golden Boot in his grasp. I was shocked to see you’re getting around 4/1 for him to score. From a value betting perspective, it’s a bet I’ve got to add to the treble.

Netherlands vs Turkey - Cody Gakpo

Cody Gakpo continues to shine at the Euros. Gakpo's first-half goal against Romania marked his third of the tournament, adding to his three goals from the 2022 World Cup. This achievement places him alongside Johnny Rep and Dennis Bergkamp as the only Dutch players to score three or more goals in two different major tournaments.

His six goals across his last nine major tournament appearances is second only to Kylian Mbappe amongst European players. The Dutch will rely on him to open up Turkey and just like I mentioned in my bet above, here is another player with the Golden Boot in his sight. The Dutch are once again rightfully favourites against Turkey and should a lot of possession.
