Casemiro Over 1.5 Shots

Casemiro was thought to be on the way out of Old Trafford this summer but will start the campaign as United’s ‘Number 6’ despite transfer links to the Saudi Pro League.

The Brazilian averaged 1.8 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League last season from his 25 appearances, according to data taken from WhoScored.com.

Bruno Fernandes to Score Anytime

No player scored more league goals for United last season than captain, Bruno Fernandes (10). The Portuguese maestro has managed at least eight goals in every campaign since signing for the club, including the 2019/20 season when he only joined in January.

Fernandes was in the top 10 for total xG (expected goals) among midfielders last season with 9.73, less than 0.5 behind the league’s player of the season Phil Foden who returned 19 goals.

Andreas Pereira Over 1.5 Shots

The second of two over 1.5 shots legs backs Fulham’s Andreas Pereira, who mirrored Casemiro’s 1.8 shots per 90 from his 37 league appearances last season.

The 28-year-old had an xG of 4.52 but only managed to score three times. He may well have extra motivation returning to Man United, for whom he made 45 league appearances (75 in all competitions) between 2014 and 2020.
