Brentford vs West Ham - Brentford to Win

We expect Brentford to claim all three points against West Ham this weekend.

Despite a tough early fixture list that saw them face Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham away, the Bees have made a solid start, especially at home, where they’ve maintained a 100% record across all competitions.

Thomas Frank's side are better judged by their wins over Crystal Palace and Southampton - two convincing home victories. Their ability to score early, as seen against Spurs and Man City could also be seen as an advantage against a West Ham side that have struggled to recover from early deficits.

Historically, Brentford have dominated this fixture, winning four of their last five Premier League meetings with West Ham and scoring at least twice in each encounter.

In contrast, the Hammers are struggling under Julen Lopetegui, having been outclassed by both Chelsea and Liverpool in recent games.

Given Brentford's strong home form and West Ham’s defensive vulnerabilities (12 conceded in last four games), it’s hard to look past another victory for the Bees at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Everton vs Crystal Palace - Draw

Everton and Crystal Palace look set to play out a close game this weekend.

Both sides have struggled to find their first win of the season, with Everton having taken just one point from five games, while Palace remain unbeaten in their last three but are still searching for a victory.

Everton's inability to hold onto leads has been a recurring theme, dropping 18 points from winning positions this year.

Palace, under Oliver Glasner, have shown some ability, with solid draws against Chelsea, Leicester, and Manchester United, but their finishing has let them down.

Chelsea vs Brighton - Chelsea to Win

Chelsea are well-positioned to claim their first home league victory of the season against Brighton.

While the Seagulls have enjoyed a strong start, Chelsea’s recent form suggests they might just outclass their opponents at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are unbeaten in four games in the league (three wins one draw) with their only loss this season coming against the Champions, Man City. 

They have won three consecutive matches across all competitions, keeping clean sheets in each, and their 5-0 thrashing of Barrow in the Carabao Cup will only serve to boost their confidence.

Despite Brighton's attacking flair (eight goals in fives games this season), Chelsea’s defensive solidity and firepower in the final third (11 goals in fives games (second most in the league)) should give them the edge.

Brighton looked flat in their 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest last week and if they play the same against Chelsea they will be punished.

Historically, the Blues have dominated this fixture, winning four of their last five meetings with Brighton and losing just once in their last six at Stamford Bridge.

With momentum on their side and the quality to hurt Brighton’s defence, Chelsea should secure all three points.
