Chelsea to Win

Leicester, under Steve Cooper, sit 15th in the league with 10 points from 11 matches, three clear of the drop zone. 

Their last win came in October against Southampton, and since then, they’ve fallen to Manchester United twice, Nottingham Forest and, nearly Ipswich Town, salvaging only a late draw against 10 men. However, the Foxes have avoided consecutive home losses and scored in all six matches at the King Power this season.

Leicester face significant injury woes, with Abdul Fatawu ruled out for the season and doubts over Jamie Vardy, Bobby Decordova-Reid,, and Jordan Ayew. Patson Daka may return, but Ricardo Pereira and Jakub Stolarczyk are unavailable. Leicester bright spark Facundo Buonanotte is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow of the season.

Chelsea sit third in the league under Maresca but have stumbled with just one win in their last four games. Strong away form has kept them competitive, scoring in eight straight matches on the road since a heavy defeat to Arsenal last season. 

With a league-best 12 away goals, Chelsea’s attack has been their strength, but one win in five league games, Maresca will be hoping to get all three points on the board.

Chelsea will miss Reece James due to a hamstring injury but otherwise boast a healthy squad. Romeo Lavia, Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, and Levi Colwill are set to return, while Wesley Fofana and Malo Gusto are deemed fit. 

This Leicester side with only two wins this season will have a tough time getting anything out of this game. To make things worse for the Foxes, they’re set to be without Fatawu, Ayew, Buonanotte and potentially Vardy too, arguably their best bunch of players. Its hard to look past a Chelsea win here.

Pedro Neto Over 0.5 Shots on Target

Neto has looked very sharp since getting a run in the side and could continue that positive run whilst registering yet another shot on target. 

He has registered a shot on target in seven of his last eight games now, including two Portugal stints and scoring in both of his last two games, he will be full of confidence! 

13 shots across his last four outings, he’s finding his feet again and pulling the trigger. Only Brentford have conceded more shots than Leicester this season. Hopefully he brings his shooting boots for another week.

Malo Gusto Over 1.5 Tackles

Gusto will likely start on Saturday with Reece James ruled out with a hamstring injury. The Frenchman will be rather busy with Leicester’s most dangerous outlet in Mavididi who will start on that left flank. 

He draws plenty of tackles from his opponents, and paired with the fact Gusto can be a tackle machine, it looks a great match up. He has only hit this line in six of his 10 starts this season, but hitting fours and threes on multiple occasions, I fancy him to rack up a few in a Chelsea win.
