Fifth place Man City take on Aston Villa in seventh as the Champions League race hots up with five matches to play in the Premier League.

  • That victory propelled Pep Guardiola's side up to fourth place for two days at least, with the Premier League champions now focused on Champions League qualification. 
  • Aston Villa, meanwhile, are officially Europe's most in-form side at present, with nine wins from their last 10 matches across all competitions. 
  • Unai Emery's side are also gunning for a place in next season's Champions League after bowing out of this year's competition in last week's quarter-finals. 
  • Villa head into this one just a point behind their hosts, with the opportunity to move up to as high as third with a win here (likely only 4th due to GD).
  • A victory for the visitors would be something of a rarity though, with their last win at the Etihad Stadium coming more than 12 years ago.
