There are three legs to Macca's 25/1 Europa League final bet builder. Here's more on each of them, as well as the option to back each individual leg at best price directly through oddschecker.

Tottenham To Win:

Neither team inspires me full of confidence, but United’s issues in attack are hard to ignore. They’ve looked lifeless going forward for weeks and are heavily reliant on Bruno Fernandes to create something from nothing.

Spurs on the other hand have saved their best football for Europe, with just two goals conceded in their last four knockout ties and three wins over United already this season. Even with players out, they still have finishers like Son, Johnson and Solanke which is a good front three who can definitely take chances.

Brennan Johnson Over 1.5 Fouls

I love fouls here. Johnson has committed at least one foul in seven straight starts, with 2+ in three of those, and he’s part of a Spurs team that presses relentlessly from the front.

He’ll be up against Patrick Dorgu, one of the most fouled players in Europa at 2.82 fouls drawn per 90. Add the context of a cagey European final and the fact that the last 15 Europa League finals have averaged 31.2 fouls per match, Johnson’s odds are far too high.

Cristian Romero Over 1.5 Fouls

Romero’s aggressive defending has meant consistent fouls throughout the season and this matchup suits a foul heavy game.

He’s committed at least one foul in six straight games, with 2+ in half of them and now faces Rasmus Højlund, who seems more interested in grappling defenders than finding space.

Just last week he literally took an opponent’s shirt off mid tussle. Højlund draws 1.22 fouls per 90 and thrives in physical battles. The 2+ foul line looks very reachable in what could be a scrappy, stop-start final.
