Macca has advised a 10/1 bet builder for the Europa Conference League final as Chelsea look to complete the set of European trophies.
Chelsea head into Wednesday’s final in Wroclaw as the bookmakers' favourites to complete a historic set of UEFA trophies (2-1 victors according to the WhoScored prediction), having already clinched Champions League qualification through the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca’s youthful side have hit form at the right time, with a defensive structure now complementing their already potent attack.
They’ve struggled at times this season but on their day, they’re a very dangerous team. They’ve scored a competition-high 38 goals in 12 Conference League outings, while conceding just 11.
Their opponents Real Betis are chasing their first-ever European title under Manuel Pellegrini. The Spanish side have relied heavily on their attacking talent, particularly January signing Antony, who’s delivered four goals and three assists in Europe.
However, Betis arrive in Poland winless in five and with defensive worries as they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 11 matches.
Europa Conference League Final Bet Builder
With Chelsea boasting superior squad depth and Betis likely to adopt a more open approach to compensate for their back line, this should be an entertaining final with end to end football if we’re lucky!
My bet builder for the Europa Conference League final was a best price 10/1 on bet365 at the time of writing (7/1 with other bookmakers).
Below you can find reasoning behind each part of my Europa Conference League final bet builder, starting with revitalised Man United misfit Antony.

Antony Shot On Target
Antony has been a standout performer since joining Real Betis in January, quickly becoming a their key attacking threat. The Brazilian has found a new level of confidence in Spain, recording 12 shots on target across eight Conference League appearances with his last outing against Fiorentina recording six shots on target on his own!
Betis are up against a Chelsea defence that may dominate possession but still concede chances in transition. Betis will likely play on the counter and with Antony often cutting inside onto his favoured left foot, one effort on target looks very achievable.
Cucurella Over 1.5 Shots
With the league out of the way, Chelsea will be fielding their strongest team tonight. Cucurella has played a fair few minutes in the Conference League thus far averaging 1.53 shots per 90.
The Spaniard has had a shot in his last 10/14 games in all competitions. With an expected back and forth game state, the 26-year-old full back should be getting chances.
If you’re a Chelsea fan, you’ll be well aware of his bombing runs forward and that should translate into chances tonight.
Both Teams to Score
Real Betis come into this final with a clear pattern: goals at both ends. They’ve seen BTTS land in each of their last 11 matches, a stretch that highlights both their attacking threat and defensive problems.
Even when they’ve struggled for wins, they’ve consistently found the net, helped by the likes of Antony, Isco and Bakambu. As mentioned previously, Chelsea will be fielding a more potent attack tonight which increases the games goal expectancy.
