Swindon to beat Barnet
Swindon have made a bright start to the new campaign, winning two of their first three and finding the net in every outing, including Saturday’s 2–1 victory at Oldham. Barnet, by contrast, sit bottom after three straight defeats, scoring just once and conceding six in the process. With the Robins buoyed by back-to-back wins and home advantage on their side, this looks a strong opportunity for them to extend their early momentum against a Barnet side still searching for form.

Walsall vs Grimsby – Both Teams To Score
This clash has all the ingredients for goals at both ends. Walsall have seen two of their opening three fixtures land BTTS, including a 2–1 win at Barnet at the weekend, while Grimsby’s last two games have finished 3–3 and 2–1. The head-to-head record adds further weight to the selection, with each of the last five league meetings producing goals for both sides. With both clubs boasting lively attacks but yet to show defensive solidity, another high-scoring encounter feels likely.

Blackpool to beat Mansfield
Blackpool arrive at the One Call Stadium with confidence high after a thrilling 3–2 win over Huddersfield on Saturday, a match in which Niall Ennis grabbed a brace and got sent off for the the Seasiders, eventually playing more than 50 minutes with 10 men. Neil Critchley’s side have now scored six in their last three and look to have real firepower at their disposal. Mansfield, meanwhile, slipped to a stoppage-time home defeat against Doncaster earlier this month and have conceded in all three of their league outings so far. With Blackpool’s attack clicking and Mansfield showing signs of fragility, the away win appeals.
