Despite generating a hefty transfer fee from the sale of Ebere Eze, alongside European qualification and their first major trophy, Crystal Palace have so far made just two signings this summer, totalling £2 million. Squad depth remains an issue, which has paved the way for Justin Devenney to start once again in the attacking midfield role, as he did in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.
