Leicester vs Wrexham – Both Teams To Score – 5/6 – 1 point
Nine years ago, Leicester were lifting the Premier League trophy while Wrexham were falling short of a National League playoff spot. Fast forward to 2025, and the two now meet at the King Power in a fascinating Championship clash.
Leicester’s Premier League campaign last season was a write-off, with relegation looking inevitable from the outset. The arrival of Marti Cifuentes has brought a reset, and the Foxes have made a steady return to life in the second tier, sitting fifth after Friday’s 1-1 draw at West Brom. They’ve found the net in all but one game so far, with BTTS landing in four of seven.
Wrexham, meanwhile, splashed out heavily in the summer and will be reasonably content with their start, currently in 15th. The Red Dragons have lost just one of their last seven across all competitions and have scored in all ten matches this season.
Defensively, though, they remain shaky. Phil Parkinson’s men have just one league clean sheet – a 2-0 smash-and-grab at Millwall – and after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Derby, BTTS has now landed in six of their seven league games.

Blackburn vs Swansea- Zan Vipotnik Anytime Goalscorer – 0.5 points – 29/10
Swansea have endured a mixed start to the campaign, sitting 13th with manager Alan Sheehan already dividing opinion among the fanbase. The Swans impressed in the transfer window with several shrewd additions, but it’s a familiar face stealing the spotlight.
Zan Vipotnik, signed from Bordeaux last summer, struggled to adapt in his first year with just seven goals in 42 appearances. This season, though, he’s on fire: six goals in nine matches, averaging 1.03 per 90. The Slovenian’s output looks sustainable too, with a hefty shot volume of 4.10 attempts and 1.79 on target per 90.

Up against an out-of-sorts Blackburn side, Vipotnik looks well-priced to get on the scoresheet once again.

Blackpool vs Luton – Under 2.5 goals – 9/10 –– 1 point
Steve Bruce is feeling the heat at Bloomfield Road after Blackpool slumped to their sixth League One defeat of the season, going down 1-0 at Bradford. Worryingly, it was the fourth time in seven games the Tangerines have failed to score.
After 15 goals in their opening three fixtures, they’ve managed just eight across the next six – all of which went under 2.5 goals.
Luton also endured a low-key weekend, edging Doncaster 1-0 at Kenilworth Road to ease a bit of the pressure on Matt Bloomfield. The Hatters’ matches are averaging just over two goals per game, with five of nine finishing under 2.5.
With both managers under pressure, a tight, cagey contest looks likely.

Cardiff vs Burton – Cardiff win – 7/10- 1.5 points
Cardiff’s relegation from the Championship had felt inevitable after years of flat performances and poor off-field management. Yet dropping down a division may have proved a blessing, offering the club a reset and a platform for academy talent to shine. New boss Brian Barry-Murphy has embraced that philosophy, putting youth development at the heart of his approach.
The Bluebirds currently sit fourth, three points off top spot with a game in hand on two of the sides above them. Defensively, they’ve been outstanding – conceding just five goals, the best record in the league – while scoring 15 at the other end. At home, they’ve won three of four, hitting at least two goals in each of those victories.
Basement boys Burton visit the Welsh capital on Tuesday, desperate to bounce back from last week’s heavy home defeat to Plymouth. The Brewers did grind out a clean sheet in a draw at Huddersfield in their last away outing, but that came after back-to-back defeats on the road in which they shipped five goals.
