West Ham vs Leeds

Crysencio Summerville to score anytime for West Ham v Leeds – 11/4 - Bet365 – 1 unit

West Ham are in desperate need of a hero in their scrap for survival and often this season, the player they can rely upon most to dig them out of a hole has been Crysencio Summerville. The winger has netted seven times across all competitions since the turn of the year and averaging two shots per 90, he clearly needs no invitation to pull the trigger. He’ll shoot from range but can also beat his full back and get into the box with regularity and will be highly motivated coming up against his former club.

I don’t think it would be a surprise to many if Leeds would prefer West Ham to stay up over Spurs given the likelihood of finishing above either club next season should they remain in the top division. Therefore, we may see a less than stellar performance from the visitors who in any case have struggled on the road all season, keeping just two clean sheets in 18 games and so if West Ham are to get on the scoresheet, Summerville looks one of their most likely sources.

Tottenham vs Everton

Beto to score anytime for Everton v Tottenham – 5/2 – Skybet - 1pt

Spurs are the other team at risk of the drop and given their dreadful home form this season, their fans can be forgiven for their concern despite needing just a point to survive. Since the opening game of the campaign, the hosts have kept just one clean sheet on their own patch with four of the last five visiting sides netting multiple times. Despite improvements under Roberto De Zerbi, they still look like a side with fragile confidence and unless they’re comfortably ahead going into the final 20 minutes, they’re likely to retreat and protect what they have.

Everton come into this game with an outside chance of qualifying for Europe and so still have plenty of motivation to put in a performance. Having mentioned Spurs’ lack of confidence, one man who should be full of it is Toffees striker Beto who has scored five goals in his last six starts. The physical forward has matched his tally of ten goals in all competitions from last season but will be desperate to get another and should be licking his lips at this flimsy Spurs rearguard.

Man City vs Aston Villa

Bernardo Silva to score anytime for Man City v Aston Villa – 11/2 – VirginBet/BetMGM – 0.5 units

Bernardo Silva brings the curtain down on his Man City career on Sunday and whilst he’s not a prolific goalscorer, in the circumstances he looks generously priced to leave the Etihad with a goal. The Portugese midfielder has two goals to his name this season but has regularly managed five or more in his time under Pep Guardiola. He’s also been doing his best to find the back of the net in recent weeks, taking 19 shots in his last nine league starts. With little on the line for City, if they are to be awarded a penalty, they’ll likely let Silva take it which adds further value to this price.

The real angle here is that having partied for four nights straight since their Europa League glory in midweek, Aston Villa are unlikely to provide much in the way of resistance. Unai Emery may well opt to rotate his squad with a top five finish secured which could mean City running riot to see out Pep’s tenure. Across the last six meetings between these sides at the Etihad, City have netted multiple goals in every game and with Silva having scored in this fixture last season, he’s capable of doing so again in his swansong.

Burnley vs Wolves

Yerson Mosquera to score anytime for Wolves v Burnley – 9/1 – Skybet/Bet365 – 0.5 units

We finish with a central defender who has yet to hit the back of the net this season, despite generating 2.3 expected goals and so he is certainly due a goal. Yerson Mosquera has been a constant threat in the opposition box during the campaign and with six shots in his last three starts, he looks desperate to get his first Premier League goal. Sunday’s game offers perhaps his final opportunity and with it being a shootout to avoid the embarrassment of finishing bottom of the pile, there’s still plenty to play for.

Burnley have conceded 14 goals from set pieces this season and with such situations being Mosquera’s most likely route to goal, that vulnerability is key to this selection. In the reverse fixture, our man didn’t play but both Wolves centre backs were afforded efforts at goal, suggesting that the visitors are capable of creating chances against the Clarets from dead balls. With the Colombian likely to be the target for first contact from all set plays, hopefully he can grab a final day goal to take something from a disappointing season.
