Troublesome Guest 11/4 (1pt)
George Margarson has always held TROUBLESOME GUEST (best priced at 5/2) in the highest regard as shown by running her in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and the Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket. She has raced too keenly in two nursery handicaps on her previous two starts but is now fitted with a first-time hood, the headgear that she works with during her work at home.
Hopefully that will mean that Troublesome Guest settles well in this race and she should be able to get off the mark at the sixth attempt as long as she handles the softer ground.

Gunfighter 11/8 (1pt)
The market favours the chances of the two CD winners Warning Symbol and GUNFIGHTER (best priced at 7/4) with preference going to the latter who arrives in much better form. The John Butler trained five-year-old won here in September off a mark of 68 before finishing a never nearer 3rd last time off this mark of 71 having not got a clear run late on under Billy Loughnane.
David Egan, who has won his previous two starts abord Gunfighter, gets back on board for this race and he looks the one to beat off the same mark.
