Back the stalemate in Saturday's live A League clash at Perth's nib Stadium.
Perth Glory v Western Sydney Wanderers – Saturday 11:00, BT Sport 2
Western Sydney continue to struggle for consistency: they’ve gone LDWLWLWL over their last eight across all competitions, and while they remain in the top six by three points, they will face a stern test when they visit Perth Glory this weekend, who sit four points clear of the Wanderers in fifth.
Perth have had a frustrating time against middle-third sides this term: their recent win against the Jets was their first win against such teams and they’d drawn four in a row against middle-third opposition prior to that. Western Sydney haven’t won at a team above them in the league all season as their three away wins have all come at the current bottom three. However, their only away defeats have been against teams above Perth and having drawn nine of their 20 matches all season they’ll fancy taking a decent point back to Sydney.
Western Sydney have a trip to Shanghai next week and will be delighted if they can get a draw out of this game. With Perth having kept just one clean sheet at home all season and the Wanderers having lost only once in the 14 matches in which they’ve scored, but with eight matches finishing all-square these teams look evenly matches. So we’ll back the Draw at 3.8.
