We hope for goals galore with this 7/1 four-fold acca!
Aston Villa v West Brom
This first one is a banker. 69% of Villa’s matches have seen both teams score (81% at home) this season, while 74% of West Brom’s total games have also seen both teams score – the two highest rates in the league.
Villa’s home games are normally carnage, and with the added derby spice, BTTS looks nailed-on.
Preston v Nottingham Forest
Preston are another side whose home games often see both teams score (81% of the time), and while Forest have only scored in two of their last six away games, Preston have kept just one clean sheet in 10 at Deepdale.
It’s certainly a bigger price than most BTTS picks, but one I’d certainly deem worthy of inclusion.
Oxford v Peterborough United
I backed Oxford to win this in my EFL Acca, but their clash with Peterborough is also a good BTTS candidate.
63% of the Posh’s away games have seen both teams score, and with just one clean sheet on the road in their last nine, it’s unlikely the home side with fire a blank.
This said, one clean sheet at the Kassam Stadium in their last seven doesn’t say much about United’s defence either.
This should be an entertaining one – hopefully with goals at both ends!
Exeter v Bury
Exeter v Bury is a massive game in League Two, but both sides are always great BTTS bets.
Only Lincoln and Forest Green have had more matches than Bury where both teams have scored, and considering they’ve found the net in seven of their last eight away games, an away goal is very much on the cards.
Exeter’s home matches have seen both teams score 56% of the time - which is still above average – and they’ll be very disappointed to fire a blank against a Bury defence who have conceded more goals than 20th place Port Vale.
