Apollon Smirnis v PAOK - Greek Super League - 17:00

We’ll begin in Greece, where I expect Super League leaders PAOK to beat bottom side Apollon Smirnis with a -1 handicap.

This is surely a banker. PAOK (with 18 wins and two draws) have conceded just nine goals this season, while Smirnis have scored just eight times.

Priced at just under evens, a -1 PAOK victory looks assured.

Nurnberg v Borussia Dortmund - Bundesliga - 19:30

Though Borussia Dortmund are winless in four matches, a trip to Nurnberg is the perfect antidote for their recent troubles.

The hosts have just one point from their last eight Bundesliga matches, and sit rock bottom of the league; I don’t imagine Dortmund will have too many issues against this lot.

Roma v Bologna - Serie A - 19:30

Roma have won three of their last four meetings with Bologna at Stadio Olimpico, and I’m backing the same outcome on Monday.

Eusebio Di Francesco’s side have lost just once at home all season, and with three wins from their last four, head into this in good shape.

Bologna won their first away game of the season at the start of the month against Inter, which was a brilliant result, but I can’t see lightning striking twice.

It’s 5th v 18th in Serie A, and there should only be one winner.

Aves v Benfica - Portuguese Primeira Liga - 20:15

Benfica are absolutely flying in the Primeira Liga – winning 11 of their last 12 matches – and I’m confident they’ll beat third-bottom side Aves.

The visitors’ last league match ended in a 10-0 victory against Nacional, so it’s fair to say they have some momentum behind them.

Aves have won just one of their last six at home, which isn’t the sort of record which will daunt this strong Benfica outfit.
