QPR v West Brom

QPR are in free-fall, and have lost their last five Championship matches, which doesn’t bode well for the arrival of West Brom, who have won seven of their last eight on the road.

This one is surely only ending one way, as the Baggies look to move within one point of the automatic promotion places.

13/10 is a nice price for West Brom to win at Loftus Road.

West Brom - 1pt @ 13/10

Barnsley v Burton

Though Burton Albion have lost just one in 10, I still believe they’ll be fairly handily beaten by Barnsley, who are running riot in League One.

The Tykes are on a superb run of form, and look on course to finish the season unbeaten at Oakwell, which would be an incredible achievement. They head into this with six consecutive home wins under their belt, and I’m backing them to make it seven.

Barnsley - 1pt @ 8/11

Notts County v Newport

In what might come as a surprise to some, my final pick is Notts County to beat Newport.

Newport will be mentally and physically drained after their FA Cup ordeal with Manchester City on Saturday, and seven straight away defeats suggests they’ll struggle at Meadow Lane.

Though the Magpies still sit bottom of League Two, seven points from their last three matches does suggest they are on the road to recovery, and 6/4 is a good price for them to beat an exhausted Newport side.
