Huddersfield v Wolves - 19:45

I’m not sure why Wolves are as long as 11/13 to beat Huddersfield, but I won’t complain – they’re my first pick.

Nuno’s side are unbeaten in five Premier League matches, and it’s hard to see them slipping-up against a Terriers outfit who have lost 14 of their last 15 matches.

Wolves have been excellent, Huddersfield have been abysmal, and this result is surely beyond doubt.

QPR v Leeds - 19:45

Leeds come into this on the back of hard-fought wins against Swansea and Bolton, and I’m backing them to beat struggling QPR.

Steve McClaren’s lads are absolutely nosediving; seven straight defeats has seen them start dropping worryingly close to the relegation zone, and it’s hard to see them pull out of this slump against a Leeds side with the bit between their teeth.

Leeds to grind out another win and return top.

Newcastle v Burnley

I don’t usually like backing draws, but Newcastle and Burnley to play out a stalemate – priced at 12/5 – simply presents too much value.

The two previous meetings between the sides at St. James’ Park have ended all square, and with Newcastle winning their last three at home and Burnley unbeaten in eight, it’s doesn’t look like either team will be keen to budge.

The risk is well worth the reward for this final pick.
