Rijeka v Istra 1961 - Croatian First Football League - 17:00

My first pick is a fairly obscure one in the Croatian top-tier: second place Rijeka to beat second-bottom side NK Istra.

The visitors have lost five of their last six away games in the league, which is why a solid home win should be on the cards.

Rijeka - 1pt @ 3/10

Antalyaspor v Ankaragucu - Turkish Super Lig - 17:30

While just five points separate Antalyaspor and Ankaragucu in the Turkish Super Lig, I’m expecting another solid home win.

Ankaragucu have just two points from their last six away games – failing to score in five of them – while the hosts pulled out of a rotten run of form with an excellent away win against Sivasspor last time out – a side whose previous home defeat came in August.

Antalyaspor’s run of four home games without a win has contained all of the Super Lig’s top three teams, and Friday’s clash should be much more manageable.

Antalyaspor - 1pt @ 93/100

Cagliari v Inter Milan - Serie A - 19:30

My next pick is in Italy, where I have Inter to beat Cagliari on the road.

Inter have won on their last three visits to the Sardegna Arena, and with four wins from five heading into this, are rightly solid favourites.

Cagliari have lost four of their last five matches, which is why Inter will very much fancy their chances.

Inter - 1pt @ 4/5

Augsburg v Borussia Dortmund - Bundesliga - 19:30

Borussia Dortmund have an excellent record at the Augsburg Arena, and I’m backing them to win there once again on Friday.

Die Borussen’s barnstorming 3-2 win against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday ended a run of five without a win, and considering they’ve won six of their last seven at Augsburg, I’m hopeful they can do so once again.

The hosts have lost six of their last seven Bundesliga matches, and I see Dortmund’s crucial win against Leverkusen as a springboard for them to recommence their title charge.
