We have a nifty 4/1 Premier League double this Wednesday!
Arsenal v Bournemouth - 19:45
Arsenal have been pretty unplayable at The Emirates for a while now, and I’m backing them to extend their seven-match winning streak at home against Bournemouth – with a -1 handicap.
Just two of Arsenal’s 11 home wins have been by just the single goal, and they should be licking their lips at the arrival of Bournemouth, who have lost their last eight on the road (seven of which by two goals or more).
6/5 is a cracking price for this outcome.
My second pick is an interesting one: Manchester City to beat West Ham and both teams to score –priced at a chunky 17/10.
While I believe City will win this, a gruelling 120-minute ordeal with Chelsea on Sunday during the Carabao Cup final will doubtless play a role in this fixture, and the injuries to Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho can only harm City’s clean sheet prospects.
Pep Guardiola’s men have kept just two clean sheets in their last nine at The Etihad, and though West Ham are painfully unpredictable, there’s a fair chance City’s tired legs and personnel changes will give the Hammers opportunities in front of goal.
