Brighton v Huddersfield

Brighton are currently the worst team in the Football League – according to the form tables, anyway – but I’m backing them to finally register a league victory in 2019 against Huddersfield at The Amex.

Beating Wolves on Tuesday is a big boost, but Huddersfield have still earned just one away point from their last seven matches (scoring only twice in that time), so if there’s ever a chance for Albion to pull out of their rut, it’s against the Terriers at home.

5/6 is also a great price.

Man Utd v Southampton

Though Manchester United have drawn back-to-back league matches at Old Trafford, I’m expecting them to return to winning ways against Southampton.

The Saints earned a crucial victory over Fulham on Wednesday, but were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal in their last away game, and that’s a more telling indicator of what to expect on Saturday.

It might be close, but United should get the job done.

Man Utd - 1pt @ 1/2

Brentford v QPR

Rivals Brentford and QPR lock horns at Griffin Park this weekend, and I’m tipping the Bees to come out on top.

Thomas Frank’s side have won six of their last seven away games, while QPR - who ended a seven-game losing streak against Leeds on Tuesday - have still lost their last four on the road.

While just one point separates the two sides, Brentford’s form at Griffin Park is formidable, which is why I’m backing them to claim the points.

Luton v Rochdale

Luton let me down last week, but I don’t expect them to slip-up at Kenilworth Road twice in-a-row. The Hatters are still unbeaten at home, dropping points just four times, which is why I’m expecting them to beat lowly Rochdale.

The visitors have lost eight of their last 10, so I can’t imagine there will be any issues with this leg of the acca.
