Nice v Toulouse - Ligue 1 - 18:00

Nice and Toulouse are two fairly benign Ligue 1 mid-table sides, but I’m backing the former to claim the share of the spoils on Friday.

The hosts have been excellent at home this season, and are unbeaten in eight (winning six), which should see them over the line against a Toulouse outfit who have lost their last three away games.

At 6/5 this is a good value-booster for this acca.

Borussia Monchengladbach v Freiburg - Bundesliga - 19:30

For a side with a home record as strong as Borussia Monchengladbach’s, it’s inconceivable how they’ve lost three consecutive matches at Borussia-Park. Nine straight wins preceded this horror-run, and I’m backing them to return to winning ways in front of their own fans against Freiburg.

The visitors are certainly no pushovers, but they have just two away wins all season, and if Gladbach return playing to the standard they’re capable of, I can’t see beyond a home win.

Real Sociedad v Levante

Evens for a Real Sociedad home victory against Levante is an absolutely cracking price.

Levante are teetering just above the relegation zone, and have lost seven of their last 10. Even more encouragingly, they’ve lost five of their last six on the road (failing to score four times).

Sociedad have won three of their last five at Anoeta, which is enough to persuade me to back them.
