West Ham v Huddersfield

West Ham are a funny old side: sometimes they’re outstanding, sometimes they’re awful. I’m praying for the former on Saturday, as I’m backing them to beat Huddersfield at home.

The Terriers have one point from their last eight away games, and a trip to the London Stadium – against a Hammers side who have a good record at home of late – should end in defeat.

West Ham - 1pt @ 29/50

Hull v QPR

Hull City are 11/10 to beat QPR, despite winning seven of their last eight at the KCOM (drawing the other), while QPR are without a point in their last five on the road, and a last-gasp defeat against Rotherham on Wednesday sees them looking nervously over their shoulder.

If you want to boost the value of your acca, this may be the place to look.

Hull - 1pt @ 11/10

Sheffield Wednesday v Blackburn

Sheffield Wednesday, under the stewardship of Steve Bruce, appear to be making a late push for the play-offs.

The Owls are still unbeaten under Bruce, and I’m expecting them to edge past a Blackburn side who have lost six of their last eight matches.

Once again, 23/20 demonstrates fantastic value.

Bury v Cambridge

Bury will take some stopping at Gigg Lane this season, and eight wins & two draws in their last 10 suggests 20th place Cambridge United will struggle.

The Shakers are one of the league’s dominant sides, and Cambridge – who have lost eight of their last 10 on the road – should bear the full brunt of this dominance.
