Potenza v ASD Sicula Leonzio - Serie C, Group C - 13:30

Apologies for the slightly brash announcement, but with our Serie C double bizarrely starting at 13:30, there’s simply no time to waste!

Serie C is split into three regionalised groups, and both of Wednesday’s matches fall within Group C – these are the lengths I have to go in order to pick out value on desolate days such as this.

First up, I have Potenza, who sit sixth, to beat 14th place Sicula Leonzio. 

The hosts are unbeaten in nine, and while Sicula are haven't lost in six themselves, their 'meh' away form (two wins from eight, both against ordinary sides) is still enough to tempt me to back Potenza. 

Considering the stats, 21/20 is quite a handy price for a home win.

Virtus Francavilla v Viterbese - Serie C, Group C - 13:30

The second part of our Serie C extravaganza will hopefully see Virtus Francavilla beat Viterbese at home. These two mid-table sides are separated by just one point, but with six wins and two draws from their last eight at home, Francavilla are certainly my favourites.

The visitors are in decent form themselves, but they’ve still lost two of their last three on the road (both against sides below them in the table), which is why I like 11/8 for a Francavilla victory.
