Enjoy this 12/1 double as we ease back into domestic proceedings!
St Johnstone v St Mirren - 19:45
This is a clash between two very poor teams.
St. Mirren are bottom of the Scottish Premiership, but have lost just one of their last four league matches – preventing them from being cut adrift at the bottom of the table.
St. Johnstone, meanwhile, have one point from their last eight matches, which is why I’m backing the draw on Wednesday.
The visitors have drawn their last two away games against Aberdeen and Hearts (which are great results), and they’ll fancy at least another point at McDiarmid Park.
Harrogate Town v Salford - 19:45
I’m backing another draw for Salford’s trip to Harrogate!
This is a fixture which will have huge ramifications at the top of the National League: Salford sit three points above Harrogate, with both sides very much in the automatic promotion and play-off hunt respectively.
Harrogate have lost just one of their last seven matches, while Salford have amassed 13 points from their last 15 available.
Will Harrogate’s home advantage be telling, or do Graham Alexander’s men possess too much quality?
I suggest they’ll cancel each other out.
