We have a tasty 8/1 Premier League treble for this Saturday's action!
Wolves v Brighton
Wolves are mega-value to beat Brighton at home.
While the hosts’ record against the lesser sides in the division is poor, Brighton have lost their last five matches without scoring once.
But it’s worse than that: Albion’s ‘performance’—if you can even call it a performance—in Tuesday’s relegation six-pointer against Cardiff was the most spineless, pathetic disgrace of showing you’re ever likely to see in the Premier League. It was abhorrent, and a dreadful reaction to losing 5-0 at home to Bournemouth the previous weekend. Brighton are going down, and Wolves will push them further towards the trap door on Saturday.
Huddersfield v Watford
While Watford have lost their last three away games (against Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool), I’m backing them to beat relegated Huddersfield at the John Smith’s.
The Hornets will have one eye on the FA Cup final, but Huddersfield have lost 19 of their last 21 in the league, and I don’t expect things to get any better against an excellent Watford outfit.
Bournemouth v Fulham
I’ve gone for a little more value with my final pick: Bournemouth to beat Fulham with a -1 handicap.
The Cherries are fresh from that 5-0 hammering of Chris Hughton’s appalling Brighton side, and while Fulham finally registered their second victory of 2019 against Everton last weekend, I’m expecting Bournemouth to return things to the status quo.
Eddie Howe’s men are winless in four at The Vitality, but this is a perfect opportunity to have a proper go at a side who can’t defend for toffee.
