Aston Villa v Norwich

This should be a cracker.

Norwich and Aston Villa are two prime BTTS candidates, and this shouldn’t disappoint. 67% of the Canaries’ league matches have seen goals fly in at both ends, while Villa’s BTTS-rate is a slightly lower (but still healthy) 64%.

We could be in for some fun at Villa Park.

BTTS - 1pt @ 8/15

Brentford v Preston

I backed Brentford to win this fixture in my results-based Championship acca, but it’s also a good pick for both teams to score.

The Bees have won seven of their last nine home games—netting 24 times in the process—while Preston have failed to score in just one of their last 10 on the road (and even then, they had a man sent off after 34 minutes).

BTTS - 1pt @ 11/20

Hull v Bristol City

This could be interesting. While Hull have a home BTTS-rate of just 45%--and a very strong home record in general, in which they’ve scored a bucket-load of goals—Bristol City have a better away record than at Ashton Gate: failing to score just once away from home in their last 13.

Hull have made the KCOM a fortress since December, but The Robins’ should give them serious problems.

BTTS - 1pt @ 4/7

Reading v Birmingham

Only four sides in the division have had more BTTS matches overall than Reading (60%). Their final fixture of the season pits them against a Birmingham City side who have seen both teams score in 14 of their 22 games on the road.

With little left to play for all round, both sides should give this one a proper go.
