Charlton v Doncaster - League One Play-Offs - 19:45

Charlton’s 2-1 advantage heading into their play-off second-leg against Doncaster at The Valley is perhaps why they’re as long as 7/8 to win on Friday—due to a draw being enough for Lee Bowyer’s men to reach the final—but I still think they win this one fairly comfortably.

The Addicks have won their last six matches at The Valley (and are unbeaten since October), while Doncaster have just a single win from their last 10 on the road, and even that came against bottom side Bradford.

I simply cannot envisage a scenario where Charlton do not win this match, so I wouldn’t hesitate in backing them.

Charlton - 1pt @ 7/8

Zaragoza v Gijon - Spanish Segunda - 20:00

A measly 28% of Real Zaragoza’s home games have seen over 2.5 goals, while visitors Sporting Gijon’s away rate is 42%; therefore I’m backing under 2.5 goals for this Spanish Segunda clash.

Incredibly, both teams have scored in just one of Real’s last nine home games, which has seen them become the second-lowest home goalscorers in the division (17 in 19).

Gijon have only mustered 18 goals in their 20 away games, which is why this tip very much takes my fancy.

Under 2.5 goals - 1pt @ 17/20

Braga v Portimonense - Portuguese Primeira Liga - 20:30

Though Braga have lost their last three league matches in-a-row, their fixture against Portimonense presents a good opportunity for them to return to winning ways – and I believe they will.

While their away form has been patchy all year, Braga’s record at home has been excellent until recently, when Porto and Benfica have got the better of them; but 12 wins from 16 is still a great return.

Portimonense have just two points from their last seven on the road, making Braga my big favourites.
