Rostov v Krylya Sovetov - Russian Premier League - 18:00

Punting this early in the season can be quite tough – prices are inviting, but with so many unknowns and no form book to fall back on, there are plenty of nasty surprises lurking to scupper your acca.

I’ve gone for a Russo-Swedish treble; the Russian Premier League is still in its infancy, though the Swedish top-tier is well underway.

Starting in Russia, I have Rostov beating Krylya Sovetov.

Rostov are unbeaten in their opening four (winning twice)—scoring at least two goals in every game—and I’m confident they’ll beat a Krylya side who have lost three of their opening four, despite only playing the one away game.

Rostov - 1pt @ 10/17

IFK Gothenburg v Falkenbergs - Swedish Allsvenskan - 18:00

My first Swedish pick is Gothenburg ousting Falkenbergs.

The home side are pushing for a European place, and just one defeat in their last 16 suggests they’re well on their way; two home wins on the spin also sees them head into Monday’s clash in good shape.

Falkenbergs, on the other hand, have a horrific away record, earning just two points from their eight on the road (conceding 10 in their last two).

I expect a comfortable home win.

Gothenburg - 1pt @ 8/11

Kalmar FF v Orebro - Swedish Allsvenskan - 18:00

Finally I have a biggie, Orebro to beat Kalmar away from home, priced at a massive 13/5.

Kalmar, who are in massive relegation danger, have lost five of their last six matches (the one exception being a 2-2 draw at home where the opponents were down to 10 men for half an hour), and should no way be favourites for this.

Orebro are a solid mid-table side with a strong away record – winning four of their last six on the road (the two defeats in that time coming against top-five teams). In terms of value, this is a great pick.
