Hamburg v Bochum - 2. Bundesliga - 17:30

After Hamburg spectacularly blew their promotion chances last season, they go again for another season in the second-tier. They have started well, however, with four points from their opening two, and I’m backing them to beat a Bochum side who have just one point and six concessions from their first couple.

An incredible 4-0 away hammering of Nurnburg in their last outing sees Hamburg head into this one brimming with confidence.

Vitesse v Zwolle - Dutch Eredivisie - 19:00

Next up, I’m backing Vitesse to beat Zwolle in the Eredivisie with a -1 handicap.

Vitesse have beaten Zwolle in their last three meetings—all of which by a margin of at least two goals—and from what we’ve seen already this season, it’s hard to imagine a different outcome.

The visitors lost their opening two games of the season 3-1 against Utrecht and Willem II, while Vitesse drew with Ajax in their opener before beating the aforementioned Willem II 2-0 on the road.

Evens looks a solid price.

Huddersfield v Fulham - Championship - 19:45

Huddersfield have looked awful this season, and with the pressure already cranking up on boss Jan Siewert, I’m backing another home defeat – this time against Fulham.

So far this season, the Terriers have lost at home to Derby, drawn at QPR and finally on Tuesday were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by League One Lincoln.

Fulham also started off poorly with a defeat at Barnsley, but a good home win against Blackburn got them back on track, and I believe they have far too much quality to drop points against a Huddersfield outfit who already look bereft of any sort of confidence.
