Ryan Elliott has put together a 4/1 Friday treble!
Ingolstadt v Hansa Rostock - German 3. Liga - 18:00
Three from Europe this Friday, starting with Ingolstadt to beat Hansa Rostock in the German third-tier, priced at a really generous 4/5.
The hosts are currently top of the division, with 13 points from their five matches, and considering their last two matches ended 3-0 in their favour, I’m confident this’ll be comfortable.
Hansa have just four points, and have lost three of their last four matches in all competitions without scoring once.
FC Koln v Borussia Dortmund - German Bundesliga - 19:30
Staying in Germany, I have Borussia Dortmund beating recently-promoted Koln on the road.
Dortmund opened their account for the season with a big 5-1 victory over Augsburg, while Koln succumbed to Wolfsburg; it’s going to be a pretty intense affair, but Dortmund have the quality to emerge from the cauldron in Cologne with three points.
Dortmund did the double over Koln the last time Die Geißböcke were in the Bundesliga, and I don’t see much different this time around.
Genk v Anderlecht - Belgian Pro League - 19:30
Finally, I expect Genk to beat Vincent Kompany’s hapless Anderlecht.
The visitors are yet to win under the new boss, earning just two points from their first four, and I don’t give them much hope against last year’s champions.
Genk look a good price, which is handy because they’ve beaten Anderlecht the last three times they’ve welcomed them to Cristal Arena.
