This cheeky BTTS treble shoots at 4/1!
Barnsley v Luton - Championship
In the five matches involving Luton Town this season, we’ve only seen one game finish with any side keeping a clean sheet (a defeat away at the solid Sheffield Wednesday).
It’s clear the Hatters will certainly score and concede plenty more in the coming weeks, and considering Barnsley have conceded 10 goals in their last four matches, we could be in for some action.
Rochdale v Blackpool - League One
Rochdale’s fixture against top-of-the-table Blackpool will be a toughie, but I believe they’ll make a fist of it – resulting in at least both teams scoring.
The Dale have scored and conceded in all-but one game this season, while Blackpool, though generally very successful, have also seen both teams score in all fixtures since the opening day.
This could be a real cracker.
Grimsby v Port Vale - League Two
Finally, while perhaps not the most sexy fixture on paper, I have Grimsby and Port Vale to both score against each other.
Port Vale have seen every single game end with both teams scoring thus far in the campaign, while Grimsby have only failed to score once – while also keeping just one clean sheet.
I don’t expect fireworks, but Vale have found the net against Colchester and Salford on the road—both seen as potentially tough places to go at the start of the season—and that should set them up well against a Grimsby outfit whose two home league matches so far have seen both teams score.
