Derby v Luton - Championship

Derby and Luton are two great BTTS prospects.

Both sides have seen 80% of their matches this season end with both teams finding the net, and a chronic lack of ability to keep clean sheets means this should be the banker of the pack.

Luton have the second-worst defence in the league (though only four sides have scored more), while Derby shipped 15, just three fewer than the Hatters.

There’s plenty going forward and little at the back – perfect.

Huddersfield v Hull - Championship

There’s decent value when backing BTTS in Huddersfield v Hull.

While it may not jump off the page at you, both sides have a 70% BTTS-rate, and there’s the familiar problem of clean sheets simply not coming regularly enough.

Despite their woeful season so far, the Terriers have only failed to score twice this season (while keeping just one clean sheet). As for Hull, they’ve scored in every away game this season, but I’d still expect a concession against a Huddersfield side buoyed by their crucial victory at Stoke on Tuesday.

Doncaster v Portsmouth - League One

Doncaster’s home games have been fairly reliable for both teams scoring: they’ve only failed to score once, while so mustering just a single clean sheet at the Keepmoat.

Pompey have been bizarrely out of form this campaign, but while their away form has not read particularly favourably, there are good signs. Both teams scored on their trips to Sunderland and Blackpool—two decent sides—and the two other away games where Portsmouth didn’t score (against Shrewsbury and Wycombe) were affected by red cards.

Donny’s leaky defence should prove the clincher here.

BTTS - 1pt @ 4/6

Northampton v Leyton Orient - League Two

No side in League Two have had more matches end with both teams scoring than Leyton Orient.

Four of their five away games have had goals at either end, while Northampton have only registered a single home shut-out.

Orient possess the joint-worst defence in the division, yet only six sides have more goals – making this is a confident selection.
