As we get stuck back into club football, I have a late night Brazilian double to bring you!
CSA to beat Atletico Mineiro at home is a massive 12/5, and it’s a selection I’m pretty confident about. The home side, despite being in the relegation zone (six points behind Atletico), have won their last four home matches—while keeping three clean sheets—and it’s looking like this might just save them from the drop.
The visitors, however, have been in dire form – losing nine of their last 11 matches, including seven of their previous 10 on the road.
At this price, you have to back the home side.
Gremio v Bahia - 23:15
Gremio are sitting handsomely in 6th place, and I’m backing them to beat a Bahia outfit a couple of places below them.
The home side have lost just two of their last 18 Serie A encounters, and seven wins & three draws from their last 10 at home makes them firm favourites in this one.
The visitors have just one point from their last three matches, and it’s hard to see them picking up anything against a Gremio side in such good form.
