QPR v Reading - Championship - 19:45

Now sitting 5th in the Championship, QPR have certainly been my surprise package this season in the Championship.

Mark Warburton’s men are the league’s third-highest goalscorers, and come into this clash with Reading on the back of six wins from their last eight – and it’s a fixture I expect them to win.

QPR have dropped points against sides currently in the bottom half just once all season, and Reading—who have now lost in five of their last seven—look painfully bereft of ideas going forward.

It has to be said that QPR’s defence is a problem (only Stoke and Barnsley have shipped more), but the sheer weight of goals and creativity amongst their ranks should be enough to dispose of the Royals.

QPR - 1pt @ 19/20

Cheltenham v Macclesfield - League Two - 19:45

Cheltenham to beat Macclesfield at home is priced at a generous 20/21, and it’s a tip I’m very happy with.

The hosts are absolutely flying: losing just once since the opening day and securing 14 points from a possible 18 on home soil – they’re a really impressive outfit.

Macclesfield, to their credit, are unbeaten in four matches, but they’ve also won just twice since August 24th, and with Cheltenham winning five of their last six matches against the Silkmen, a home victory this time around is a strong possibility.

Cheltenham - 1pt @ 20/21

Newport County v Crawley - League Two - 19:45

Newport are always a cracking bet on home turf, and I’m confident they’ll see off Crawley Town.

The Exiles have a brilliant record at Rodney Parade (winning five and drawing two), and evens looks a good price for them to beat a Crawley side who have lost four of their last five in all competitions.

The visitors have scored in every league game this season, but their chronically leaky defence will be their undoing against a well-drilled Newport outfit.
