Kick your week off with this 4/1 double!
Djurgaarden v Orebro - Swedish Allsvenskan - 18:00
Just a quick-fire double for Monday, starting with Djurgaarden to beat Orebro with a -2 handicap.
The hosts can go three points clear at the top of the table with one game to play if they win this one, and I believe they’ll register a heavy victory. Winning eight of their last 10 at home, while keeping seven clean sheets, is a cracking return, and considering three of Orebro’s last four away defeats have been by margins of three goals or more, we could be in for a pummelling.
QPR v Brentford - Championship - 19:45
QPR v Brentford is a fascinating one, and I’m backing the Bees to claim the points.
The home side sit above the visitors in the table, but the underlying numbers suggest Brentford are so much better than their league position suggests – and with victories in two of their last three away games, including a 3-0 win at Swansea, they are clearly a match for anyone in the division.
Rangers have been very impressive, it must be said, but they seem to score and concede multiple goals every match; is this sustainable against a well-organised Brentford? The Bees have scored at least twice against QPR in their last seven meetings with them, and they’re my pick to win and build on their impressive recent form.
