Pacos Ferreira v Sporting - Portuguese Primeira Liga - 19:45

There weren’t many fixtures on Thursday which really tickled my fancy for this acca, so I’ve plumped for a nice 2/1 double.

In Portugal, I’m confident Sporting beat Pacos Ferreira on the road.

The visitors have had a passable start to the season, and come into this on the back of consecutive wins – with all four of their away games rendering victories or draws.

As for Pacos, they currently sit second-bottom of the table, and have failed to score in three of their four at home.

AC Milan v Spal - Serie A - 20:00

AC Milan have been pretty poor thus far, but they have a great opportunity to return to winning ways against a dreadful SPAL outfit.

I Rossoneri have won just one of their last six Serie A matches, but it’s SPAL’s away form which has convinced me Milan will secure their second San Siro victory: as the visitors have lost all four away matches without mustering a single goal.

Milan are a fairly short price to win this, but SPAL look like relegation fodder this season, so I expect the hosts’ fortunes to turn on Thursday.
