Three away victories comprise this 7/1 acca!
Sampdoria v Atalanta - Serie A - 14:00
Atalanta finally showed what they could do in the Champions League on Wednesday by holding Manchester City to a draw, and I’m backing them continue this through to Sunday and beat struggling Sampdoria.
The visitors won just one of their last four league matches, but this run of fixtures contained away draws at Napoli and Lazio, a 7-1 home win against Udinese and a defeat to Cagliari in which they had 10 men for 50 minutes. Hardly a disgrace.
On the road they’re unbeaten—winning four and drawing two—and they’ll fancy overcoming a Sampdoria outfit in the bottom three with seven defeats from their 11 games.
Lugano v Basel - Swiss Super League - 15:00
Basel are just one point off the top of the Swiss Super League, and they should be confident of beating lowly Lugano on the road.
Lugano’s home form is really poor—losing three and drawing three at the Cornaredo Stadium (scoring just twice)—and I don’t have high hopes for them as the big boys of Basel come to town.
Basel won their opening three away games before dropping points to three of the current top four, but this will prove a more simple challenge for them.
Cova de Piedade v Estoril - Portuguese Segunda - 15:00
There’s some really good value in the Portuguese Segunda, where I have in-form Estoril getting the better of bottom-of-the-table Cova da Piedade.
Estoril have won six of their last seven league matches, while the hosts have lost seven of their nine since the start of the season.
5/4 for an away win is awfully generous.
