It's an 8/1 Romanian bonanza!
UT Arad v Gloria Buzau - Romanian Liga II - 12:00
Though there was very little club football for me to pick from on Wednesday, I must say there is some mega value in the Romanian second division.
We have a midday kick-off to start with, where second-place UT Arad should be looking to beat mid-table Gloria Buzau.
The visitors have lost their last four away games in the league, while Arad have won five of their six home games (drawing the other) – keeping five clean sheets along the way.
Dunarea Calarasi v FC Arges Pitesti - Romanian Liga II - 12:00
Though Arges Pitesti are in pretty good form in the league, I’m backing them to lose away from home against Dunarea Calarasi.
Arges are unbeaten in five, however away from home they’ve earned just two points from their last five (failing to score on three of these occasions).
Dunarea have won three and drawn one of their last four matches, and a run of three consecutive home victories definitely gives them the edge in this mid-table clash.
CS Mioveni v Rapid Bucharest - Romanian Liga II - 17:30
The afternoon kick-off sees CS Mioveni take on Rapid Bucharest, and I’m once again backing the home side.
Mioveni sit top of the table having lost just once all season, and they too have three straight home wins in their sails coming into this game.
Rapid are struggling, with just one win in their last six. They’ve also lost back-to-back away games, so at a generous 7/5 you certainly want to be backing the leaders.
