Prepare for the weekend with this 6/1 Friday treble!
Troyes v Chambly Thelle - French Ligue 2 - 19:00
My first selection on Friday is the shortest price of the three: Troyes to beat Chambly Thelle in Ligue 2.
Troyes are fourth in the division, and come into this in cracking form – having won seven of their last 10 matches.
It’s the opposite story for Chambly, who have managed to pick up just a single point from their last eight matches. They have also failed to score in four of their last five away games, so this is a tip I’m confident about.
Borussia Dortmund v Paderborn - Bundesliga - 19:30
The international break came at a good time for Borussia Dortmund, giving them time to dust themselves down after being hammered by Bayern Munich, and I expect Lucien Favre’s men to return in full force against Paderborn – winning with a -2 handicap.
Dortmund have only dropped points once at home in the league this season, and they’ve already hammered Augsburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg at Signal Iduna Park.
Paderborn, with just four points all season, have their work cut out to prevent this being a cricket score, particularly because their last two away games have ended in 3-0 defeats against Koln and Hoffenheim.
Pescara v Cremonese - Italian Serie B - 20:00
Finally, in Serie B, Pescara are a great price to beat Cremonese.
The home side are 4th in the table after a run of four wins from their last six—including consecutive home victories, with one coming against leaders Benevento—so there’s no way they should be as long as 27/20.
That’s before mentioning Cremonese, who have two points from their last five away games, while also possessing the worst attack in the league – scoring just nine times in their 12 games.
