Tuesday’s French double shoots at 4/1!
US Orleans 45 v Lorient - Ligue 2 - 20:00
Both of my selections on Tuesday appear overpriced, so let’s take advantage!
First up, it’s bottom v top, as Orleans face high-flying Lorient. Not only have the home side earned just one point from their last four matches, but they’ve picked up just two points from their eight home matches. Abysmal.
It’s strange that Lorient, who have won their last three matches, are odds-against in this one. Their away form is also impressive: five wins from eight.
Niort v Ajaccio - Ligue 2 - 20:00
Ajaccio to beat Niort on the road is also a good-looking bet at 6/4.
The visitors are unbeaten since August, and their defence, which is the second-best in the league, will certainly give them the edge against struggling Niort.
With four defeats from their last five in the league, it’s clear that Niort are heading in the wrong direction, and in-form Ajaccio look a good bet to compound this misery.
