We go European for this 6/1 treble!
Arsenal Tula v Lokomotiv - Russian Premier League - 16:30
Lokomotiv’s ropey home form has seen them lose ground in the Russian title race, but away from home they’re outstanding.
Now unbeaten in eight on the road (winning six), the visitors will fancy taking three points against Arsenal Tula, who have earned just two points from their last five home games.
Odds-against looks generous for an away win.
Hamburg v Heidenheim - 2. Bundesliga - 17:30
Looking at the German second division, I have an excellent Heideheim side succumbing at Volksparkstadion – a place which has become an absolute fortress for Hamburg.
Frankie Schmidt’s men are only two places and six points behind Hamburg, but are winless in six on the road, with their most recent outing ending in a 3-1 defeat at Jahn Regensburg.
Hamburg have won their last six at home—scoring 18 and conceding just three—so my money is on them.
Eintracht Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin - Bundesliga - 19:30
Eintracht Frankfurt and Hertha Berlin have both struggled for form of late, but it’s Frankfurt who I’m getting behind for this.
Though Adi Hütter’s men have lost three straight league games, their home form is still impressive: prior to their bizarre defeat against 10-man Wolfsburg, Frankfurt won four of their six at Waldstadion (drawing the other couple).
Hertha, who have lost five consecutive games now (conceding 13), are going to take some lifting to get a result in this, and four defeats from their last six away games suggests that isn’t happening.
